Abraham Quintanilla death: Father of Tejano music icon Selena has died, son A.B. Quintanilla III says

Abraham Quintanilla, the father of late music icon Selena Quintanilla, has died, family announced Saturday.

Abraham “A.B.” Isaac Quintanilla III announced his father’s death via social media.

“It’s with a heavy heart to let you guys know that my Dad passed away today,” he said.

Quintanilla managed and helped launch Selena’s career, ABC San Antonio affiliate KSAT reported.

His cause of death was not shared to the public.
