In honor of National Bacon Day on Tuesday, a national fast-food chain is offering bacon cheeseburgers for just a penny.
Wendy’s announced that customers can order their 1-cent Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers on Dec. 30 through the app, USA TODAY wrote.
As a requirement, customers must purchase another item at full price. The deal is available at participating restaurants.
“At Wendy’s, bacon isn’t just a topping, it’s a lifestyle,” the company said in a statement to USA TODAY. “From the iconic Baconator to the Breakfast Baconator to our bacon-loaded Breakfast Burrito, we literally own bacon.”
The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is made with a beef patty topped with two strips of bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a toasted bun.
Wendy’s did not respond to MassLive’s request for comment.
