Undefeated debuting heavyweights Guilherme Pat and Allen Frye Jr. went the distance in the second bout of the day, with the Brazilian emerging with a unanimous decision victory in his first appearance outside of his hometown of Sao Paulo.
“Kong” started well, flashing sharp, quick hands while busting up Frye Jr. at range, but as the fight progressed, his output waned, giving the American an opportunity to narrow the gap. Frye Jr. spent long stretches of the final two rounds in the clinch, forcing Pat into the fence, but struggling to land anything of real consequence.
